Diversity Statement
|
The Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) is a non-profit,
inter-faith organization whose mission is to provide
emergency assistance to the working poor of midtown
and downtown Atlanta to prevent homelessness and hunger
during periods of crisis. MAC's ability to achieve its
goals can best be accomplished if the programs it offers
and supports reflect a diversity of perspectives.
The Center considers a commitment to diversity as
integral to its mission and its pursuit of excellence
in service delivery, and MAC pleddges to seek and value
diversity in its board, its staff, its supporting partners
and its clientele. Midtown Assistance Center believes
that such diiversity encompasses, but is not limited to,
age, gender, race, national origin (ethnicity),
religious beliefs, physical abilities and characteristics,
sexual orientation, economic circumstances and lifestyle.
